FireGestures

Most people using firefox is because of its awesome add-on features. isn't it? you can have your favorite theme, bookmarks, toolbars, dictionaries, language support and so on. i think thats the advantage of firefox over IE. so far, i am using NAZA Night Launch theme and All-in-one Sidebar.

Yesterday i just install another nice add-on for my firefox 2, that is FireGestures. with FireGesture, you no need scroll your mouse over the back, forward, refresh, home and so on many confusing buttons. so with FireGesture you can do all the miscellaneous tasks with mouse gesture only.

Now, i can open new tab with just left-click with holding right click. go to Home with just right-click with holding left click. easy right? these are my hot gesture which i use it everyday. if you don't like it, you can edit it to the gesture you love. no more scrolling mouse far far away to the top just to back to previous pages. cool right.

FireGesture option

As the hot gesture is limited, the common task such as open new window or text size increase you can do it by following the instruction in mapping tab. you can edit it by going to mapping tab in option of FireGesture.

mouse gesture

So far, i am satisfy with it. usually i just uninstall the add-on if feel that it is useless and troublesome. btw, i had pledged to get firefox 3 on the Download Day to help Firefox to set the Guinness World Record for the most downloaded software in 24 hours! Cool!
